BAILANDO CON ORGANICIDAD




































Tango was born as a popular dance. Through time it began mixing
ingredients from other dances like "candombe", "Cuban dance
tune" or tango, with the typical moves of bodies, danced from its very
beginning.

It never stayed still .and even more ,there had been neigbourhoods

which defined its own style to dance it .

While composing tango , we can't forget our actual present ,neither

all the rythms we share, and other musical and movement researches


No matter our desire ,we couldn't dance that pure first tango. Our

body is different , we are different and nowadays we reach tango in a
different manner according to the moment.

Whenever tango was born , bodies were different, others were their

dynamics ; not only voices but the way of talking at that time
even had a tone and a tango harmony of motion.

The tango lyrics' subjects had been dyeing by the

historical events happened at each social period.

Nowadays-for sure- our tango also testifies not only elements from

other dances but by our everyday happening in society.

I imagine dancers from the 900' and I admire them because of their so

logical, plane and pure style. Inevitably, this ,moves me each
time to a more personal dance which will be played by other
new techniques, sounds and by my own life. But always starting from
the essence that makes tango unique ; and transforms it in language
and way of expression.
And being attracted by that essence, we can express with freedom
.

So, playing as a language , tango tells us about

the person who dances it. It becomes a tool leaving communication with
the partner, in each embrace, each step, each pause...moving
the dancer at every moment.

And dancing organically, we dance naturally. Without copying shapes or

figures from their form and vivifying the genuine dynamics of each
structure.

As proposed by tango , we move from logic , like a system in which we

work in a special mood, in a particular game. And it leaves
us to imagine differently.

The so called "tango basic movements" happen naturally and they are

part of our creation.

Tango is improvisation. It's right now. We create

in contact and together, beginning with the connection we enjoy
when we can perceive ourselves ,each other, and one another at every moment.

From this particular language two bodies chat and this is

a tool needed for creation. At the same time, it allows a couple to be
connected with the other ones.

Organically dancing, there isn't a roll more important than other. The

dance is created by both of them, as a fact, got by the connection
which situates us in the present moment. We only distinguish the
leader's function, particularly the duo movement in interaction
with other dancers.

While dancing tango we discover what it does excite each other, and we

naturally go on approaching techniques, respecting our own process and
changing it in an expression resource.

We dance from WHO WE ARE , without conditions , and it's not necessary

to be experienced in dancing, nor "competent" bodies to move, nor
being a determinate age.

We re-build our corporality starting from our practise on basic

notions as weight, pushes, tone , musculature
,musicality-among others-with which we try since our
gestation in the belly ; to discover the world and incorporate to it.
Then ,we begin leaving , while we "grow up " and we get ways
that move us away from the integrator learning..., we are carried to
put our own body in a fixed position, as if we were objects apart from
ourselves, obedients to think , instead of living it.

A harmonious dance leads us to a vivifying state that will be set up

and integrated.

We build our own body and from the source-as those people who created

tango- and as those who maintain it alive : dance in a real and
natural way- without copying or trying to repeat or learn by heart...,
progressively.

We create our proper "shapes or figures" like structures,with their

internal logic and particularities. We improvise and let ourselves to
be surprised by music.

Dancing...we are athentic.


Tango's organic entering nourishes itself looking upon contact

improvisation, body mind centering , authentic movement, postural
alignment, euthony, feldenkrais ,bioenergetics- among other systematic
physical training- searching into human body
and its movement, and taking into account Music : which is a
determining impulse to gain movement and connection.

We are looking for independence, incorporation of techniques in a real

way, self respect and with others , who have particular needs and
proper times, so that movement may express ourselves and lead us to
the meeting with our own tango style.
